The Old Drogheda Society Weekly Walk and Talk this week takes a walk down memory lane with Liam Reilly, starting at the corner of Fair Street and Bolton St on tomorrow Wednesday at 7.30 pm.

Liam will speak about the shooting of Alice Slowey in 1922, how a church became Drogheda's first cinema, the old cornmarket that became a courthouse, Drogheda's only Olympic medal,  The Fair Street schools, The Duke Street footbridge, The residence of the Archbishops of Armagh, the Catholic Action, Crilly School of Music, Harry Allen, Pat Clarke's lion, Eamonn Campbell, Nana Reid's studio, Freeschool Lane,the famous residents of Church Lane, TK Whitaker, Paradise Place, Harpur House, Tooting Tower, ending in King Street.

There is no set charge but donations to the Old Drogheda Society will be accepted. All welcome.
